At Flourish and Blotts is the fourth chapter of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.
Events[]
Harry stays at The Burrow for the rest of summer. Arthur keeps wanting to sit with Harry to ask him about the Muggle world. Molly keeps trying to feed him because of how skinny he is. Harry is shocked by how many people like him and he loves The Burrow.
One day, they receive a letter off Hogwarts with the list of things they need for September. Harry goes with the Weasley family to Diagon Alley. They use Floo powder to get there but Harry gets out at the wrong crate and discovers he is in Borgin and Burkes instead. He hides when Lucius and Draco arrive to sell their Dark artefacts because they have heard Arthur is going to introduce a new artefact law to raid their house.
Hagrid finds Harry and takes him to the Weasley family at Gringotts. Hermione and her parents also arrive and everyone in the group go their separate ways for an hour. Harry, Ron and Hermione buy ice-cream and eventually go to Flourish and Blotts. Gilderoy Lockhart is holding a book signing and at the sight of Harry, realises he can make the newspaper headlines if he is with him and has their pictures taken together. He announces he will be the new Defence Against the Dark Arts Professor that year.
Lucius and Draco show up in the bookshop and they insult Harry, Ron, Hermione and Ginny. Arthur goes up to Lucius and they begin arguing. Eventually he teases Arthur about his family and takes a second-hand book Ginny has in her cauldron. Arthur and Lucius start beating each other and cause a scene until Hagrid breaks it up. Lucius throws Ginny's second-hand book back at her and leaves.
