The aunt of Beatrix Bloxam is a character in The Tales of Beedle the Bard.
Biography[]
One day, Beatrix overheard her aunt telling the story of The Warlock's Hairy Heart to her older cousins. She also told her children the story of their uncle Nobby having an affair with the local hag which involved Bouncing Bulbs. Beatrix was horrified by the stories and the shock rendered her bedridden for a week. The experience caused Beatrix to believe the stories in The Tales of Beedle the Bard were inappropriate for children and had to be softened. She rewrote the stories with her own book, The Toadstool Tales but cut out The Warlock's Hairy Heart.[2]
