Biography[]

Early life[]

Bill Weasley was the eldest child[2][3] born to Mr and Mrs Weasley on 29 November 1970.[1] He was born during the First Wizarding War, and was aged ten when it ended.[4] He was raised at The Burrow in Devon and had six younger siblings, Charlie, Percy, Fred, George, Ron and Ginny.[2]

Bill started attending Hogwarts in September 1982. He was a Prefect and Head Boy.[5] Bill was probably the person who told Ron about the legend of the Chamber of Secrets prior to September 1992.[6]

Upon graduating, he was a Curse-Breaker who worked at Gringotts. In 1993, Arthur won the Grand Prize Galleon Draw and took their whole family to go and see Bill. While looking at a Pocket Sneakoscope that Ron had bought for Harry, it started lighting up and spinning. Bill thought it was faulty but it was a warning that Fred and George had put beetles in his soup.[3]
