Burdock Muldoon is a wizard and character in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. He is the Chief of the Wizards' Council in the fourteenth century.[1]
Biography[]
Burdock Muldoon was the first Chief of the Wizards' Council to try and classify wizarding creatures in a beast or a being. Burdock considered a being to be a creature that can walk on two legs and invited every one that fits that definition to a summit meeting to discuss wizarding law.[1]
The meeting was a total failure because some of the creatures with two legs did not possess the intelligence to understand and shape wizarding law. Diricawls squawked, Augureys moaned and Fwoopers sung while pixies and fairies flew around while giggling. Trolls broke the chamber apart with their clubs, hags glided and when Burdock stood up to open the meeting, he slipped on a pile of Porlock dung. After that, he ran out of the hall cursing. Burdock then decided that they could do without integrating non-wizards into the Wizards' Council.[1]
