History[]
In 1926, the Cleansweep Broom Company was created by three brothers, Bill, Bob and Barnaby Ollerton. They released their first broomstick, the Cleansweep One to huge success. It was the first to be produced specifically for sporting use. The company was the only one in possession of the racing broom market until the Comet Trading Company was established.[1]
In 1934 and 1937, they released the Cleansweep Two and Cleansweep Three.[1]
Fred and George Weasley both owned a Cleansweep 5.[3]
