A counter-curse is counter-spell which reverses the effect of curses, hexes and jinxes.
About[]
In order for a counter-curse to work, the witch or wizard needs to keep an eye on their target and try not to blink.[1]
Professor Snape had to use a counter-curse during the first Quidditch game of the 1991-1992 school year at Hogwarts, when Professor Quirrell attempted to knock Harry Potter off a broomstick.[1] In the 1992-1993 school year, Snape used the counter-curse "Finite Incantatem" when a few students during the Duelling Club used unfriendly spells.[2]
