Dedalus Diggle is a character in the Harry Potter book series.
Dedalus is a wizard who is part of both the original and second Order of the Phoenix. He fights in both the First and Second Wizarding War, and is part of the Advance Guard.
Biography[]
Philosopher's Stone[]
In 1981, the wizarding world celebrated the downfall of Voldemort. In Kent, a wizard put shooting stars in the sky which was seen by the Muggle world. Minerva McGonagall blamed Dedalus, saying he never had any sense. It's unknown whether he actually did it.[2]
Between 1981 and 1991, Dedalus saw Harry Potter and waved to him. Petunia Dursley was upset and asked Harry how he knew that man.[3][4] In July 1991, he was in the Leaky Cauldron when Harry Potter and Rubeus Hagrid passed through the pub to go shopping. He was overjoyed to be formally introduced to Harry and was happy when he found out that Harry remembers the time he waved to him when he was younger. He shook Harry's hand about five times.[5]
