Dragon blood has magical properties with at least twelve different known uses.[1] It appears in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone and Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.
History[]
The twelve known uses of dragon blood were purportedly discovered by Albus Dumbledore.[1] However, when he died, Ivor Dillonsby told Rita Skeeter when she was penning the biography, The Life and Lies of Albus Dumbledore that he had actually found eight of those uses and Dumbledore had stolen his work.[2]
In the first-year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, the students studied the twelve uses in an unknown subject.[3]
