The fourth-floor classroom is an unused classroom in Hogwarts Castle. Professor Dumbledore stores the Mirror of Erised in here. It appears in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. The corridor which the classroom is on is very narrow. There are abandoned desks and chairs put in a pile against the wall. Propped up against the wall is the Mirror of Erised.
History[]
In December 1991, Harry Potter was running away from Filch under the Cloak of Invisibility and was hiding in the corridor outside. He realised the corridor is narrow so Filch could very easily knock into him if he stayed put. He then found a door handle and opened it into the unused classroom. He found the Mirror of Erised inside which showed him his family. He returned to it for two nights until Dumbledore told him it would be moved to a new location.[1]
