Gladys Gudgeon is a character in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets and Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. She is a witch and a fan of Gilderoy Lockhart who sends lots of fanmail to him.
During his second year, Harry Potter helped Lockhart respond to one of her letters. She had sent enough letters by then that he knew who she was, telling Harry Potter that she is huge fan.[1] She continued to support Lockhart after he suffered memory loss and sent letters when he was at St Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries. Lockhart had no idea why and thought it could be because he was very good-looking.[2]
