The Homorphus Charm is a spell in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.
Gilderoy Lockhart claimed it temporarily transforms a werewolf back into a human. In his book, Wanderings with Werewolves, he wrote that defeated the Wagga Wagga werewolf with the spell. However, it was an Armenian warlock who actually did it.[1] Lockhart erased the warlock's memory and claimed he did it.[2]
Trivia[]
- It is unknown whether the charm exists. Lockhart is a fraud who is incompetent with spells and shown to use nonsensical ones which don't produce anything. It is possible that he imagined the spell.
