Biography[]
Philosopher's Stone[]
Lee began attending Hogwarts School in September 1989 and sorted into Gryffindor. He was later made the Inter-House Quidditch tournament's commentator in or prior to the third year of education.
In September 1991, Lee took a giant tarantula to school. He showcased the spider on the Platform Nine and Three-Quarters. Fred and George Weasley stayed in Lee's compartment and wanted Ron Weasley to look at the spider but he had a phobia of them.[1] Lee helped Fred and George find passageways and he later wanted them to go and look at one, but Fred and George thought it might be one that they found years ago.[2]
Lee was the commentator for Inter-House Quidditch games from or prior to the third year. He had a problem keeping impartial and giving personal thoughts on the game and teams. In the first game of the year, Gryffindor vs. Slytherin, he was shouted at by Professor McGonagall when he stated that he thought Angelina Johnson was good-looking. He was shouted at again when he commentated that he thought Slytherin were cheating and that he hoped Marcus Flint had a broken nose.[3]
Chamber of Secrets[]
In the summer of 1992, Lee was shopping in Diagon Alley and saw Fred and George shopping that day too. They ended up hanging out for an hour until Fred and George had to head to Flourish and Blotts. Harry Potter, Ronald Weasley and Hermione Granger found the three in Gambol and Japes Wizarding Joke Shop purchasing "Dr Filibuster's Fireworks".[4]
In September, Lee was very impressed by Harry and Ron having flown to school in the Ford Anglia and applauded and commended them when they went in the common room that evening. He was cheering about what an entrance he thought it was, and that it was brilliant.[5] Lee was the commentator for at least the second year running.[6]
In April, Lee pointed out that at least Gryffindor, Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw had a student who had been Petrified, but Slytherin was safe. He thought they should throw every single Slytherin out of the school because it was obvious that they were responsible for what was happening, causing people to cheer in support.[7]
