Muggle-repelling charms are spells which are used to conceal a specific area and prevent Muggles discovering and entering it.[1]
History[]
Muggle-repelling charms have been put on native areas inhabited by wizarding creatures. These include sections of the forests where unicorns[2] and centaurs[3] live, and designated lakes and rivers given to Merpeople.[4]
The stadium for the 422nd Quidditch World Cup had these charms placed on it.[5]
Trivia[]
- It is unknown how Durmstrang Institute and Beauxbatons Academy of Magic conceal their locations. Hermione Granger suggests they could use these charms.[5]
