Prudence is a witch and character in Quidditch Through the Ages.[1]
Biography[]
In 1269, her sister Modesty was fined after interfering with a Quidditch game also attended by Barberus Bragge, Chief of the Wizards' Council. She sent Prudence a letter about the incident, during which she had tried to rescue a Golden Snidget that Bragge had introduced to the game for the players to hunt.[1]
Modesty could not afford to pay the fine of ten Galleons so they took her old house in payment. She told Prudence in her letter that she was on her way to live with her soon, and that they let her keep her Hippogriff. The letter is now kept in the Museum of Quidditch.[1]
