Quidditch was the eleventh chapter of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone.
Events[]
Harry prepares for the first Quidditch game against Slytherin by borrowing Quidditch Through the Ages. He was found reading the book on the school grounds by Professor Snape who takes it because library books have to be kept inside school.
He saw Snape was limping and goes to the staff-room to get the book back. He hears Snape talking to Filch about Fluffy and Harry grows suspicious. During the game, Harry found the Golden Snitch early but Marcus Flint knocks him back. Eventually, Harry's broom began bucking uncontrollably and Hagrid told Hermione and Ron that Dark magic was capable of doing that.
Hermione saw that Snape was whispering and thought he was jinxing Harry. She goes to the teachers' stand knocking Professor Quirrell down and used Bluebell Flames to cause a scene, breaking their concentration and saving Harry. He chases the Golden Snitch to the ground, fell but catching it in the process and winning the game.
Harry, Ron and Hermione go to Hagrid's Hut and tell him their thoughts about Professor Snape. Hagrid asks why he would want to kill Harry, finding it absurd a teacher would jinx a student. Harry tells Hagrid about Fluffy and Hagrid accidentally tells everyone Fluffy was guarding a secret known only to Professor Dumbledore and Nicolas Flamel.
