Rudolf Brand is a character in Quidditch Through the Ages. He is a Quidditch player and Captain of the Heidelberg Harriers.
Biography[]

In 1953, he was Captain of the Heidelberg Harriers during their game against the Holyhead Harpies. After playing for seven days, the Harpies' Seeker caught the Golden Snitch after which Rudolf famously proposed to his opposite number, Gwendolyn Morgan. She hit him on the head and concussed him with her Cleansweep Five.[1]
