This character is an Irish witch who is first referenced to in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone.

Biography[]

When she married her husband, a Muggle, he did not know she was a witch until she told him after their wedding which shocked him. They had one child, Seamus Finnigan.[1]

She attended the 422nd Quidditch World Cup with her son and his best friend, Dean Thomas. One morning, Seamus was talking to Harry Potter, Ronald Weasley and Hermione Granger outside of their shamrock decorated tent. She joined them when she heard them discussing that the British Ministry of Magic were unhappy with their decorations. She remarked that they should show their colours, and that they should see what the Bulgarians had over their tents. She asked if they would be supporting Ireland in the final to which they agreed they were. Ron later said that he wouldn't have said otherwise to them.[2]
