Snow White and the Seven Dwarves is a Muggle fairytale.
Hermione Granger talks about the book when Ronald Weasley wonders why she and Harry Potter have not heard of wizarding tales such as The Tales of Beedle the Bard. Hermione reminds him that they grew up in the Muggle world reading stories such as Snow White and the Seven Dwarves.[1]
It is also mentioned by J. K. Rowling in The Tales of Beedle the Bard. She points out the difference between Muggle characters such as Snow White and fictional witches such as Amata. While magic was the problem in Snow White who is poisoned with an apple by a wicked witch, wizarding tales portray magic as a tool that can solve problems.[2]
