History[]
In around the early twentieth century, he married a woman with whom he lived at Riddle House in Little Hangleton. They had a son, Tom Riddle. They were a wealthy family.
In 1925, Tom was given a Love Potion by a witch, Merope Gaunt and eloped. In 1926, Tom returned to the Riddle House when the effect faded off, leaving Merope with their son, Tom Jnr. who was brought up in an orphanage when she died.
In August 1944, he was having dinner with his wife and son in the drawing room. His grandson, Tom Jnr. had tracked down their location and entered the house. He murdered the family with the Killing Curse, with the maid finding their bodies in the morning. Their gardener Frank Bryce was wrongfully arrested for the murders. He was buried with his wife and son in Little Hangleton cemetery.[1]
