The Tutshill Tornados are a Quidditch team that play in the British and Irish Quidditch League. They had their greatest success in the early twentieth century.[1] They are first referenced to in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.

Uniform[]

The Tutshill Tornados wear sky-blue robes which have a dark blue "T" on the front and back.[1]

History[]

Founded in 1520, they were one of the thirteen best teams in the country and were invited to join the the British and Irish Quidditch League in 1674. The Tutshill Torandos had a great period of success in the twentieth century. Captained by their Seeker Roderick Plumpton, they won the League Cup five times in a row, a record for the League.[1]

In 1921, Roderick caught the Golden Snitch in three and a half seconds against the Caerphilly Catapults, the British record for the quickest capturing of the Snitch.[1]

By 1995, the Tornados were often winning the League. Cho Chang was a fan of the Toranados. Ronald Weasley saw her wearing a Tornados badge and asked her, rather rudely, if she only started supporting the Tornados since they started winning the league. She responded that she had supported them ever since she was six.[3]
