History[]
During the summer holidays after their fifth year at Hogwarts, Fred and George started experimenting and making products in their bedroom. Explosions were often heard from their bedroom throughout The Burrow but their family thought they just liked the noise. They eventually produced products like fake wands and trick sweets including the Ton-Tongue Toffee, which they started selling from their home with "great long price lists" and order forms. They were also planning to take their products to Hogwarts and sell them there.[1]
When their mother, Molly Weasley discovered the forms, she was very upset because she had hoped they'd aspire to more than a joke shop. She burned the order forms and warned them they weren't allowed to make anything anymore.[1]
