The Werewolf Register is a wizarding law created by Newton Scamander. Enforced by the Ministry of Magic, the law requires sufferers of lycanthropy to register in order to ensure they behave responsibly in the interests of public safety in Britain. Thus, it was intended to hold a record of all known werewolves in the country.[1]
